CUNA Mutual Insurance Society was founded in 1935 by credit union leaders, who saw the need to provide superior products to credit union members at a reasonable price. Much like credit unions, CUNA Mutual was formed like a cooperative, owned and operated by its members. For 75 years CUNA Mutual has grown steadily, as we focus on serving millions of credit union members nationwide.
